Back of watch was off when it arrrived

This watch is very nice looking, but when it arrived the back was off, and it won't go on. Could we easily fix it? It works well, he likes the way it looks. It appealed for a teenager when he got his new gentlemen looks with his 3 piece suit. Disappointed : (

Regarding the watch's functionality, it's designed with an automatic movement. To keep it active, it requires motion such as the natural movement of the wearer's wrist. Simply shaking the watch periodically will also do the trick.
